Some images on the site have come from Stock.xchng which offers free stock photos for websites and other uses. Most of those photos do not require attribution. I would include them anyway, but I fear this page will grow to mammoth proportions.

I believe that all other images are not covered under copyright. Most likely this is because they are faithful reproductions of two dimensional objects. Such images do not gather new copyright in most countries (specifically the United States and Japan which would be the governing laws for the images in question) and the original two dimensional object is in the public domain, usually because they are sufficiently old (holders lifetime + 70 years) that their copyright has expired.
