Commander Strall

NPC - All that is really known about Commander Strall is that he is a Fourth Commander in the invading army and he is charge of securing the penensula (believed to mean Florida). The only reason he is known at all is that he made a declaration in Scavangers declaring the above along with orders about submitting to the invaders.

Murdock

NPC - Murdock is painfully thin, his hair is very light blonde, almost white. He's in his late twenties, and he carries an (empty) .22, and a rod about 12 inches long at the end are two four inch protrusions with glowing lights, which appears to be some sort of psychic field detector. It is clear that he's stark raving mad.

He appears to be searching for some mysterious "noise" that's keeping him from doing his work. He believes himself to be a "disciple" of the Great Gustav, who might be the worlds expert on psychic phenomena. It is also possible that Murdock performed some unsafe experiments to re-route his neural pathways, possibly to increase his "PA." What is clear is that this "noise" is driving him to distraction and he can't redeem himself to the Great Gustav unless he can do his work. So for the last five days he's walked through the woods using his sensor seeking the source of the noise to kill it. Yes with an unloaded .22. He seems completely unaware that the world has been invaded, however the noise coincides with the invasion date.

He died during Death of a Madman of a massive stroke. In his last lucid moments before death he directed the aquad to seek out Gustav.

Gustav

NPC - Gustav is a name that several members of the squad recall as being used to prove the existance of psychic phenomena. He's supposed to have performed all sorts of surveys and experments that support the concept. According to Murdock (who worships him like a god) he was at MIT. Little else is known about him.

In his dying moments Murdock told the squad to seek Gustav out and gave them an address at MIT and the 10,000 Islands East of Lake Ontario

NPC - Jones is a stocky, grizled man in his late fourties. He freshly lost three fingers in a cave in caused by the initial assault. He's collecting information and is fairly well informed about the aliens and what's going on in Atlanta. He was first met in Birth of a Powerarmor.

In The Death of a Madman the squad bequeathed four Paladins to Jones' care.

Joeseph Griffin

NPC - Joseph "practically designed" the Paladin component factory in Atlanta. He was instrimental in leading the squad to a way into the factroy, he is also suffering from an advanced case of Bubonic Plague. As of Birth of a Powerarmor he isn't expected to live long. On the other hand with the bubonic plague loose the entire Atlanta underground isn't expected to live long.
